the decorating begins

as we wait for the walls to dry
the children start thinking about the
exteriors of their caravans.
wheels are cut and shaped with sandpaper,
windows are drempt up
and found paper is cut and shaped to size

putting the walls on our skeleton

after soaking the balsa wood in water I slowly bent
the wood over a hot soldering iron. these with the
aid of glue where adhered to the already dry and sturdy
structure. our caravans were taking shape

the building begins

we have started building our wee caravans.

    we have been cutting and gluing and standing

   in front of a hair dryer for most of the session
